Material Info & Features
An ideal complement to bowls, vases and sculptures are the TEAK columns made of 100% recycled teak wood. Both in private living spaces and in store furnishings - not least in window dressing - they make your highlights eye-catchers and conjure up a natural flair. The columns are available in eight different sizes. The teak wood used comes from old Indonesian buildings, farms or ships. Instead of destroying the natural material, it is recycled for furniture production in a complex process. Due to its age and storage, the wood is thoroughly dried, but the varying humidity between the country of origin and Europe can cause slight changes in the wood. Lack of humidity can cause cracks in the wood, as with all wooden furniture. Therefore, any tension or settling cracks do not represent a quality defect and do not entitle the customer to make a complaint. Unless the use of the goods is significantly impaired by this. An appropriate room climate must therefore be ensured, especially during the heating period. In the case of underfloor heating, additional moisture dispensers in the room are recommended.
