Instruction according to § 18 Battery Act - BattG
In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged as a distributor under § 18 BatterieG to inform you of the following:
As the end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. After use, you can return batteries free of charge to us at the above address or to the designated collection points (e.g. municipal collection points or retailers). You can also return the batteries to us by post. In any case, we will refund the postage for the return of your used battery.
The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:
The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin means that the battery must not be placed in the household waste.
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead by mass.
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by mass.
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass.
